Alden and Kathryn feel pressure for Hello, Love, Again.

In their interview with Nelson Canlas on GMA Integrated News’ 24 Oras on Wednesday, KathDen confessed to feeling the pressure for their upcoming movie.

Kathryn shared, “Everything happened so fast, so it’s just sinking in now. I’m feeling pretty nervous.”

Alden agreed, adding, “In every project, especially this one because it’s really special to both of us, there’s pressure. There’s a benchmark from the previous film to consider.”

The Sparkle star acknowledged the inevitable comparison to Hello, Love, Goodbye, which was a huge hit in 2019. Both films were directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana.

Alden also mentioned the pressure of the box office but emphasized that it’s up to the audience to decide if the movie is worth watching, with word of mouth playing a key role.

Kathryn found comfort in not facing this pressure alone, saying, “I’m really nervous about everything that’s going to happen, so it’s nice to know I’m not facing this by myself because I have Alden with me.”

The two didn’t confirm if there will be a third movie, but both agreed that Hello, Love, Again will conclude Joy and Ethan’s story.

Alden shared, “Let’s give them a rest since they’ve been through a lot. From our perspective, it might be time to say goodbye to Joy and Ethan, but who knows? We can’t say for sure, but personally, it feels like it’s enough.”

Hello, Love, Again will be released in Philippine theaters on November 13, with tickets now available for purchase.

The movie will also be shown in North America, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific region.

Additionally, it will be featured at the Asian World Film Festival 2024 in Los Angeles, California.
