MANILA \u2013 Thai actor Win Metawin, star of \u201cUnder Parallel Skies,\u201d generated major excitement during his two-day stay in Manila, making waves on social media, live TV, and through a series of consecutive in-person events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Win and his team touched down in Manila in the early hours of Monday, April 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a brief rest, the Thai actor dove into a series of press interviews with select media outlets. He then continued with scheduled mall events, beginning at the cinema lobby of Mall of Asia in Pasay City, where he was met with enthusiastic cheers from fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meet-and-greet was quick and energetic, with Win taking a moment to thank his Filipino fans for their warm and enthusiastic welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next stop was the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati, where Win was thrilled to see fans gathered all the way up to the mall\u2019s third<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Day 2, Win appeared on ABS-CBN\u2019s noontime show It\u2019s Showtime<\/em> with his Under Parallel Skies<\/em> co-star Janella Salvador, marking his first live TV appearance in the Philippines. \u201cYes, I had so much fun. It was great; it was my first time on a show here in the Philippines!\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following Showtime<\/em>, Win and Janella quickly changed for their grand media conference at the Hilton Hotel in Pasay City. Joined by director Sigrid Bernardo and executive producer Richard Juan, they answered questions from the local press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Janella and Win shared memorable experiences from filming in Hong Kong, along with fun outtakes, conversations, and bonding sessions they had while working on their new movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To wrap up the lively media gathering, Win surprised Janella with a birthday cake, celebrating her 26th birthday from March 30. The two then moved to the next function room to film promotional content for their movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around 7 PM on Tuesday night, Win flew back to Bangkok. Despite the hectic schedule, he maintained his energy throughout the day. The production team made the most of his time in Manila to promote his first international project. Win is set to return to Manila on the 16th for the highly anticipated premiere night of the movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
