Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), expressed pride over Bangkok\u2019s recognition in National Geographic\u2019s prestigious annual list of remarkable travel destinations. \u201cWe are honored that Bangkok has been featured in National Geographic\u2019s list of awe-inspiring places. The city\u2019s vibrant energy, iconic street food, magnificent temples, and lively markets make it a standout choice for travelers seeking both adventure and relaxation,\u201d she said. This recognition adds to Thailand\u2019s numerous tourism accolades, underscoring its status as a premier global travel destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

National Geographic\u2019s selection of Bangkok as one of the Best of the World 2025 followed a comprehensive nomination, research, and evaluation process conducted by a team of travel specialists and the editorial teams at Nat Geo Traveller worldwide. Their insights, shared with millions of readers across magazines and digital platforms, played a key role in identifying Bangkok as an essential travel destination for 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official announcement, published on October 22, 2024, at NatGeo.com\/BestOfTheWorld under the title \u201cThe 25 Best Places in the World to Travel to in 2025,\u201d highlights Bangkok as a must-visit city where visitors can \u201cExplore a temple reborn.\u201d National Geographic praised the city as a captivating fusion of old and new, where gleaming skyscrapers coexist with luxury malls like Siam Center and upscale hotels such as Innside by Meli\u00e1 Sukhumvit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
